The special feeling of the city of Liepaja is created by local people, and we want to show the guests of Liepaja how cool, creative, enterprising, life-loving, persistent and inspiring the people of Liepaja are. That is why we are furnishing the future Greenspot Liepaja apartment with things created here in Liepaja – various accessories, interior items, textiles, board games, books, etc. Things are just things if they are not given a soul and identity! Therefore, to make it even more special, we have undertaken a mission – to tell the special story of the creator of each special thing, also showing the person behind the brand in a special location in Liepaja during the Discover Liepaja talks. Because we are truly excited about every creator in our city!

The story of the apartment

The Greenspot Liepaja apartment is in the creation process currently – everything necessary has been demolished, and now it’s in the creative process. It is a small mansard-type apartment with huge potential. It is located in a romantic wooden house, which by itself is one of the pearls of Liepaja. The apartment will be designed and decorated in a similar style to our current Greenspot apartment – preserving original materials, shapes and forms and specific details – such as brick and wooden walls, open beams and other nuances – as much as possible.

What makes the Greenspot Liepaja apartment special?

Staying in the Greenspot Liepaja apartment is a special experience that combines cozyness with the magic of local Liepaja stories. Almost every object in the apartment – from a cup and a tea towel to paintings and furniture – is created in Liepāja and carries the stories of local creative people. Next to each special object, you will find a QR code, which, when scanned, will allow you to read an interview on the Discover Liepaja blog with the author of this object – about their creative path, values and inspiration. The interviews took place in the authors’ favourite places in Liepaja, so through the stories, you will get to know not only them but also special places in the city. It is not just accommodation – it is an opportunity to feel the soul of Liepaja through objects, people and their stories.
